Rivlyn Records was founded in 1975 by music producer and entrepreneur Rivlyn O'Connor in Los Angeles, California. Initially focused on rock and pop music, the label gained prominence in the late 1970s and 1980s by signing a diverse roster of artists, including the influential punk band The Vex and the pop sensation Lila Hart. Rivlyn's commitment to artistic freedom allowed its artists to experiment across genres, leading to a distinctive catalog that included new wave, alternative rock, and synth-pop.
