Coyotes Los Del Rio Bravo

Coyoacán is a borough in Mexico City, originally a pre-Hispanic village named by the Aztecs, likely meaning "place of coyotes." Established as a borough in 1928, it has historic significance as the first capital of New Spain and retains much of its colonial character, featuring narrow cobblestone streets and plazas. Known for its vibrant cultural scene and attractions such as the Frida Kahlo Museum, Coyoacán is a popular destination for both tourists and locals, drawing around 70,000 visitors weekly. The area faces modernization challenges, balancing tourism, local heritage, and the needs of its residents.
