Dottie Walters

Dottie Green was an American professional baseball catcher who played for the Rockford Peaches in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1943 to 1947 and later served as a chaperone until the league's conclusion in 1954. Green, known for her solid defensive skills, was one of the few players to participate in all twelve seasons of the league, and she contributed to the Peaches' championship victory in 1945. After her baseball career, she managed a dry cleaning business and was featured in the 1994 documentary "Baseball" by Ken Burns. Green passed away in 1992 at the age of 71.
