Country Big

Big Country is a Scottish rock band founded in 1981 in Dunfermline, Fife, by Stuart Adamson, Bruce Watson, Tony Butler, and Mark Brzezicki. They gained international recognition with their debut album, "The Crossing" (1983), which included the U.S. Top 40 hit "In a Big Country." Their follow-up albums, "Steeltown" (1984) and "The Seer" (1986), also achieved chart success in the UK. Following Adamson's death in 2001, the band disbanded but reformed in 2007 for anniversary tours. They released their first studio album in over a decade, "The Journey," in 2013, and have continued to tour with various lineup changes.
