Doug And The Slugs

Doug and the Slugs is a Canadian pop music group formed in 1977 in Vancouver, British Columbia, known for their hits in the 1980s, including "Too Bad," "Who Knows How To Make Love Stay," and "Making It Work." Led by frontman Doug Bennett, the band developed a strong local following before achieving national success; their most notable album was 1982's "Music For The Hard Of Thinking." Despite a lack of international success, they maintained a presence until the mid-1990s, with a reunion and continued performances occurring in later years following Bennett's death in 2004.
