Mort ShumanMort Shuman (1938–1991) was an American singer, songwriter, and pianist, recognized for co-writing numerous rock and roll hits in the 1960s, including "Viva Las Vegas." He collaborated extensively with Doc Pomus, creating popular songs recorded by artists like Elvis Presley and Dion, before moving to London and later Paris, where he continued to write hits in French and compose for film.
