It achieved significant recognition, including a gold certification for its album "Christmas Hymns And Carols" and performed internationally, representing the U.S. in cultural exchange tours. The chorale's legacy continued through numerous alumni who became prominent singers and choir directors. Robert Shaw later transitioned to become Music Director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, marking the chorale's conclusion as a standalone entity.
