JayJays are a diverse group of passerine birds in the Corvidae family, characterized by their small to medium size, colorful plumage, and vocal nature. They do not form a monophyletic group and are classified into New World and Old World lineages, with species such as the Eurasian jay and various scrub-jays among their ranks. While they share certain physical traits, jays are genetically closer to other corvids like crows and ravens. (Source: Wikipedia)
