Goose Creek Symphony

Goose Creek Symphony is an American rock band formed in 1968 in Phoenix, Arizona, primarily associated with progressive, country, and acid rock genres. The band gained recognition for their 1972 cover of Janis Joplin's "Mercedes Benz" and continued to produce music until 1976 before reuniting in 1990. They are noted for their eclectic sound and live performances, having appeared on shows like The Ed Sullivan Show and shared stages with notable acts such as Jimi Hendrix. Inducted into the Arizona Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame in 2011, they have released several albums throughout their career, including both studio and live recordings.
