Emerson Lake And PalmerEmerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP) were an influential English progressive rock supergroup formed in 1970, consisting of Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and Carl Palmer. Recognized for their innovative sound that blended classical music with rock and jazz elements, the band achieved significant commercial success in the 1970s with nine gold albums and approximately 48 million records sold worldwide. Their notable works include the albums "Tarkus," "Brain Salad Surgery," and "Works Volume 1."
