Jack Dennett

Jack Dennett (1916–1975) was a prominent Canadian radio and television announcer known for his work in sports broadcasting, particularly hockey. He began his career in radio at age sixteen and became notable for conducting player interviews in the Regina Senior Hockey League and for his role on Hockey Night in Canada. Throughout his career, he interviewed every Canadian Prime Minister from R.B. Bennett to Pierre Trudeau. Dennett, who was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame shortly before his death, passed away from bowel cancer in 1975 at the age of 59.
