Jo Ann Castle, born on September 3, 1939, in Bakersfield, California, is an American honky-tonk pianist known for her appearances on The Lawrence Welk Show, where she earned the nickname "Queen of the Honky-Tonk Piano." She began her career at a young age, joining the Welk ensemble in 1959 and performing there until 1969. Castle's musical style encompasses honky-tonk, boogie-woogie, and ragtime, and she later performed at the Champagne Theater in Branson, Missouri, and made guest appearances on RFD TV.
