Henry Gibson

Henry Gibson (1935–2009), born James Bateman, was an American actor, comedian, and poet known for his notable performances in the television series *Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In*, where he gained fame as "The Poet." His film credits include significant roles in *Nashville*, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination, and as the Illinois Nazi leader in *The Blues Brothers*. Gibson also contributed as a voice actor, most famously voicing Wilbur in *Charlotte's Web*. His later career featured appearances on *Boston Legal* and other television shows, showcasing his versatility from the 1960s until his death.
