Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose was an American family soul music group formed in 1970 in Dania Beach, Florida, consisting of siblings Carter, Eddie, and Rose Cornelius, along with Billie Jo Cornelius joining later. They gained significant popularity in the early 1970s with hits like "Treat Her Like a Lady" and "Too Late to Turn Back Now," both achieving high chart rankings and gold certification. Although they disbanded in 1976 due to personal changes among the members, including Carter's affiliation with a religious sect, they left a lasting impact on the soul genre before fading from the mainstream music scene.
