The Geraldo Singers & OrchestraGeraldo, born Gerald Walcan Bright on August 10, 1904, was a prominent English bandleader who gained popularity in the 1930s with his "sweet music" style and the Gaucho Tango Orchestra. Over his four-decade career, he evolved his musical style and contributed to the British entertainment industry, influencing many musicians and producing notable works, including the theme music for Scottish Television. He operated a talent agency known as "Geraldo's Navy," supporting musicians' careers both in the UK and abroad. Geraldo passed away on May 4, 1974, while on holiday in Switzerland.
