Christine HolmesKatie Holmes, born December 18, 1978, in Toledo, Ohio, is an American actress and filmmaker known for her role as Joey Potter on the television series "Dawson's Creek" (1998–2003). She made her film debut in Ang Lee's "The Ice Storm" (1997) and has since appeared in notable films such as "Batman Begins" (2005) and "Pieces of April" (2003). Holmes has also directed films, including "All We Had" (2016) and "Alone Together" (2022).
