Willie Wet

Wet Willie is an American southern rock band formed in 1970 in Mobile, Alabama, known for their soulful sound and notable hit "Keep On Smilin'," which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1974. The band played a significant role in the southern rock scene during the 1970s, supporting acts like the Allman Brothers Band, and continued to produce albums and singles throughout their active years, which extended until 1980 and resumed in the 1990s. Wet Willie has been inducted into the Alabama and Georgia Music Halls of Fame.
