Carrasco Joe KingJoe "King" Carrasco, born Joseph Charles Teutsch on December 6, 1953, is a Tex-Mex musician recognized for blending Nuevo Wavo rock with Latin rhythms. Active since the late 1970s, he gained prominence through his band, Joe King Carrasco and the Crowns, releasing the hit "Party Weekend" and touring internationally. His music spans various styles, including cumbia and reggae, and he has released several albums while receiving multiple awards, including induction into the Austin Music Hall of Fame. In addition to his musical career, Carrasco is also a filmmaker and animal advocate, founding a nonprofit for dog rescue. He currently resides in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. (Source: Wikipedia)
