McDonald And Giles

McDonald and Giles is a 1970 studio album created by British musicians Ian McDonald and Michael Giles, both former members of King Crimson. Released on Island Records in the UK and Cotillion Records in the US, the album features progressive rock elements and reflects a departure from the darker tendencies of King Crimson, although it achieved limited commercial success. While it remains popular among King Crimson fans, the duo did not produce a second album, with Giles later contributing to McDonald's solo projects. The album includes contributions from other musicians and has been influential, particularly in the realms of progressive rock and hip-hop.
