Nick Venet (1936-1998) was an American record producer renowned for his work with The Beach Boys, including signing the band to Capitol Records and producing their early hits like "Surfin' Safari." Active from the mid-1950s until his death, he also produced a diverse array of artists across genres and was involved in various spoken word projects. Venet's contributions to music helped shape the sound of the 1960s, and he was credited by Brian Wilson with teaching him production skills. He passed away from Burkitt's lymphoma at age 61.
