Gordon Benny And The Soul Brothers

Benny Gordon (1932 – December 24, 2008) was an American soul and R&B singer active primarily in the 1960s and 1970s. Initially a member of the gospel group Christian Harmonizers, he later performed as Benny Gordon and the Soul Brothers, achieving recognition with singles like "What Is Soul" and "A Kiss to Build a Dream On." Gordon's career included "Tighten Up," an album released in 1968, and several other notable recordings. He passed away from an inoperable stomach tumor at age 77, leaving behind a legacy in the soul music genre.
