Principal Edwards Magic Theatre

Principal Edwards Magic Theatre was an English performance art collective active from 1968 to 1971, comprising musicians, poets, dancers, and technicians. Formed by students from the University of Exeter, they blended psychedelic rock, folk, and theatrical elements in their performances and were known for their innovative album "Soundtrack." After their disbandment, some members transitioned to a more conventional rock band, dropping "Magic Theatre" from their name. The newer iteration, Principal Edwards, operated from 1972 to 1974 and produced stage musicals and an album, though it did not achieve significant commercial success.
