Ed Kenney

Lyman R. Sherman (1804–1839) was an early leader in the Latter Day Saint movement and served as a member of the inaugural Seven Presidents of the Seventy. Although called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles by Joseph Smith, he died before his ordination. Sherman joined the Church in 1832 and was involved in significant events, such as Zion's Camp. His life ended in early 1839 in Far West, Missouri, and he is noted for a revelation in the Doctrine and Covenants related to his inquiries about God's will.
