The Winged Victory ChorusOnnik Dinkjian Onnik Dinkjian Armenian-American musician and singer Onnik Dinkjian (Armenian: Oննիկ Տինքճեան; born 1929) is a French-born American-Armenian musician and singer.[1] He is the father of Ara Dinkjian and has appeared with his son as well as other Armenian musicians such as Roupen Altiparmakian playing oud.[2][3] Biography He was born Jean-Joseph Miliyan in Paris, France, in 1929, the son of Garabed and Zorah from Dikranagerd (Diyarbakir), who both fled the Armenian genocide. He had a sister two years older. His father died when Jean-Joseph was less than one year old.
