David George

George David, born on April 7, 1942, is an American businessman known for his role as the former chairman and CEO of United Technologies Corporation (UTC). He joined Otis Elevator Co. in 1975 and became president in 1986, later leading UTC from 1994 until 2008. Under his leadership, UTC achieved significant growth and recognition, earning David numerous accolades, including the Order of Friendship from Russia and the Legion of Honor from France. In addition to his business career, David is an avid yachtsman, notably setting records in sailing competitions. He has been involved in various corporate boards and committees throughout his career.
