Created by writer Brian K. Vaughan and artists Kyle Hotz and Eric Powell, the character first appeared in Hood #1 (July 2002).[1] Robbins was originally a petty criminal. He defeated and robbed a Nisanti demon of its hood and boots, which granted him superhuman abilities such as levitation and invisibility.
