The T.S.U. ToronadoesArchie Bell & the Drells was an American R&B vocal group from Houston, active primarily in the late 1960s and 1970s. They were notably produced by Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff and achieved major success with hits like "Tighten Up" and "I Can't Stop Dancing." The group evolved from their early works in Houston to produce several albums under Atlantic and Philadelphia International Records, gaining recognition for their funk and soul music. The group disbanded in 1980 but continued to have an influence on R&B and disco music.
