Karen Marklinger

Chad Allan, born Allan Peter Stanley Kowbel, was a Canadian musician best known as the founding lead singer of the rock band The Guess Who, a significant group in the 1960s Canadian music scene. Active from 1958 until 2017, he gained fame with hit songs like "Shakin' All Over" and contributed to other musical projects, including Brave Belt and several solo albums. Apart from his musical endeavors, Allan was involved in television and education, teaching songwriting. He received the Order of Manitoba for his contributions to Canadian music and passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 80.
