Ronald Colman

Ronald Colman (1891–1958) was a British-American actor renowned for his work in both silent and sound films, transitioning successfully into Hollywood during the 1930s and 1940s. Notable for his distinctive voice and sophisticated screen presence, Colman garnered critical acclaim with Oscar nominations for films such as "Bulldog Drummond," "Random Harvest," and won an Academy Award for Best Actor for "A Double Life" in 1948. His acclaimed performances include "A Tale of Two Cities," "Lost Horizon," and "The Prisoner of Zenda." Colman's contributions to film earned him two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and he continued to act until shortly before his death from emphysema.
