The Pace Millie Trio

Mary Ford (born Iris Colleen Summers; 1924–1977) was an American country music vocalist and guitarist, best known for her partnership with her husband Les Paul in the 1950s. The duo achieved significant fame, producing 16 top-ten hits, including "How High the Moon" and "Vaya con Dios," and were pioneers in multi-tracking techniques in recording. They maintained a successful career with numerous records and their own television show before declining popularity in the late 1950s due to the rise of rock and roll. Ford's life was marked by struggles with alcoholism, ultimately leading to her death in 1977.
