Ken Billington, born on October 29, 1946, in White Plains, New York, is a prominent American lighting designer known for his extensive work on Broadway and beyond. With credits for 96 Broadway productions, he has won a Tony Award for Best Lighting Design for the 1996 revival of Chicago and has received multiple nominations throughout his career. Additionally, he served as the principal lighting designer at Radio City Music Hall from 1979 to 2004 and has worked on various theatrical and architectural projects worldwide. In 2015, he was inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame, marking his significant contributions to the field of lighting design.
