She became the first solo female anchor of a major network evening news program while at CBS Evening News from 2006 to 2011 and has also hosted notable programs such as the Today show and 60 Minutes. Couric founded Katie Couric Media and hosts the podcast Next Question, while her best-selling book, The Best Advice I Ever Got, reflects her influence in media.
