Copperpenny

New Copper Penny was a defunct nightclub located in Portland, Oregon's Lents neighborhood, known for its prominent neon Lincoln cent sign. Established by owner Saki Tzantarmas in 1972, the club became notorious for various incidents prompting local concerns, and it ultimately closed in 2016 when sold to a real estate developer; the building was later demolished to make way for new apartment developments. Tzantarmas passed away in 2017.
