Harry SukmanHarry Sukman (December 2, 1912 – December 2, 1984) was an American composer known for his work in film and television from the 1920s to the 1980s. He won an Academy Award for Best Musical Song Score in 1960 for "Song Without End" and received nominations for "Fanny" and "The Singing Nun." Sukman's notable scores include "Salem's Lot" and he worked on a variety of television series throughout his career. He passed away of a heart attack on his 72nd birthday. (Source: Wikipedia)
