The Maddin Jimmy Orchestra

Sparks is an American rock and pop duo formed by brothers Ron and Russell Mael in 1971 in Pacific Palisades, California. Known for their unique songwriting style marked by literary references and a theatrical stage presence, the band gained prominence in the 1970s with hits like "This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us" and transitioned to synth-pop in the late 1970s and 1980s with albums such as "NÂș 1 in Heaven." Their career spans multiple decades with varying musical styles, significant collaborations, and notable entries into film and television, including the recent musical "Annette" and the documentary "The Sparks Brothers."
