Clinton Larry And His OrchestraLarry Clinton (1909–1985) was an influential American musician, known primarily as a trumpeter, bandleader, and arranger in the jazz and big band genres. Active from the 1930s to the early 1960s, he achieved notable success with hits like "The Dipsy Doodle," "My Reverie," and "Heart and Soul," while also gaining recognition for his innovative arrangements that merged popular tunes with classical melodies. After serving in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II, Clinton resumed his career, leading bands and composing popular music until he retired from the music business in 1961.
