Clancy Hayes

Clancy Hayes (1908–1972) was an American jazz vocalist and banjo player known for his work during the mid-20th century. He began his career in vaudeville and rose to prominence in the 1930s through performances in radio and clubs, later playing with notable big bands such as Lu Watters' and Bob Scobey's. Hayes was recognized for his expressive singing style and led his own bands in the 1960s, contributing significantly to the jazz scene in San Francisco until his death in 1972.
