Kaye Debbie LoriLori Berman, born June 27, 1958, is a Democratic politician serving in the Florida Senate, representing central Palm Beach County since her election in April 2018. She previously held four terms in the Florida House of Representatives, from 2010 to 2018. Berman has been active in legislative efforts, including proposing the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment and background checks for gun purchases. In April 2025, she was elected Minority Leader of the Florida Senate. Berman's political career has been marked by significant electoral successes within a challenging political landscape.
