Carr's is a British biscuit and cracker manufacturer established in 1831 by Jonathan Dodgson Carr in Carlisle, Cumberland. Now owned by Pladis Global through United Biscuits, Carr's initially became Britain's largest baking business and introduced innovations in biscuit production. The company has experienced ownership changes, including a transition to Cavenham Foods in 1964 and then to United Biscuits in 1972. Carr's products are marketed in the United States by Kellogg's, and the company has faced challenges, including significant disruptions due to flooding in its factory. Its flour division became Carr's Group PLC, indicating its expanded business interests beyond biscuits.
