Fred Engelberg

The Hugh M. Hefner Moving Image Archive, located at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, is an audiovisual archive originally established as Audio-Visual Services by Herbert E. Farmer. Renamed in 2007 following a significant donation from Hugh Hefner, the archive has produced and distributed educational films and is notable for its diverse collections, including student films and silent films. Under the direction of Dino Everett, the archive has hosted significant events, such as the premiere of "Shock Value The Movie" in 2014, highlighting its role in documenting and celebrating cinematic history and contributions from notable USC alumni.
