The 1912 Detroit Tigers season was a Major League Baseball season in which the team finished sixth in the American League with a record of 69–84. It marked the team's inaugural season at Tiger Stadium (then Navin Field), which opened on April 20, 1912. Notable events included a players' strike in May over Ty Cobb's suspension and George Mullin throwing the franchise's first no-hitter on July 4.
