Johnny Forbidden

Albert Akst (1899–1958) was an American musician and film editor, notable for his transition from performing in vaudeville and the Meyer Davis Orchestra to editing films. He edited 53 feature films, including notable titles like Forbidden Passage and Ziegfeld Follies, and received an Academy Award nomination for his work on Somebody Up There Likes Me. Akst was born in New Jersey and passed away in Los Angeles, California.
