The Stylistics

The Stylistics are an American Philadelphia soul group formed in 1968, notable for their success in the 1970s, characterized by the falsetto of lead singer Russell Thompkins Jr. and production by Thom Bell. The group achieved twelve consecutive Top Ten R&B hits, including "You Make Me Feel Brand New" and "Betcha by Golly, Wow," along with multiple gold singles and albums. Although they faced challenges after Bell's departure in 1974, they remained popular in Europe and have continued to perform, evolving with various lineup changes while maintaining their legacy in the music industry.
