Strength Texas BillTexas A&M University, established in 1876 in College Station, Texas, is a public land-grant research university and the flagship institution of the Texas A&M University System. It became notable for its vast enrollment, engineering and agricultural programs, and rich military tradition, being one of the six senior military colleges in the U.S. The university, which has diversified its student body since the 1960s, boasts a campus of over 5,500 acres and is classified as an R1 research institution.
