The Rollers

The Bay City Rollers are a Scottish pop rock band that gained immense popularity in the 1970s, often referred to as “tartan teen sensations” from Edinburgh. With a signature style characterized by tartan outfits, the classic line-up featured Les McKeown as lead singer, alongside Eric Faulkner, Stuart Wood, Alan Longmuir, and Derek Longmuir. Their notable hits included "Bye, Bye, Baby," which became the best-selling single in the UK in 1975, and "Saturday Night," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. Although their popularity waned in the late 1970s and 1980s, the band returned to prominence in the 2000s and 2010s through compilation albums.
