Ronnie Aldrich

Ronnie Aldrich (1916–1993) was a British pianist, arranger, conductor, and composer known for his contributions to easy listening and jazz music. He gained prominence in the 1940s as the leader of The Squadronaires, a Royal Air Force band. Aldrich was noted for his innovative stereo LP arrangements featuring dual piano parts and had a successful recording career with Decca and later his own label, Seaward. In addition to performing, he was the musical director for Thames Television and notably for "The Benny Hill Show." He continued to produce music and broadcast until his passing from prostate cancer at the age of 77.
