Eddie ReardonRay Reardon (1932–2024) was a prominent Welsh professional snooker player known for dominating the sport in the 1970s, winning the World Snooker Championship six times. Nicknamed "Dracula" due to his distinctive appearance, he became the first player to hold the world number one ranking in the 1976–1977 season and maintained a significant presence in snooker until his retirement in 1991. Beyond his accomplishments, he was recognized with an MBE in 1985 and mentored future star Ronnie O'Sullivan. Reardon passed away from cancer in July 2024 at the age of 91. (Source: Wikipedia)
