Patience & Prudence

Patience and Prudence were an American female vocal duo consisting of sisters Patience Ann McIntyre (born 1942) and Prudence Ann McIntyre (1945–2023), active primarily from 1956 to 1963. They gained notable success with their hit single "Tonight You Belong to Me," which peaked at number four on the Billboard charts and sold over a million copies. Their musical career was characterized by limited output after early successes, as their father discouraged further public performances. Despite this, they became known for their contributions to pop music during the late 1950s and were later featured in various media, reuniting briefly in the late 1970s.
