Al Oster

Al Oster was a Canadian singer-songwriter, known for his music focused on the Yukon, where he lived from 1957 to 1975. Born on December 3, 1924, he gained recognition for his contributions to the folk music scene and was appointed to the Order of Canada in 1999. Oster passed away on October 28, 2017, at the age of 92.
