La Rosa JuliusJulius La Rosa (1930–2016) was an Italian-American singer renowned for his contributions to traditional pop music, particularly during the 1950s on radio and television. La Rosa gained fame as a regular on Arthur Godfrey's shows but was famously fired on-air in 1953, which unexpectedly boosted his career; he subsequently appeared on Ed Sullivan's show and released hit songs like "Eh, Cumpari." Over the years, he hosted his television series, acted in various shows, and worked as a disc jockey, continuing to perform until the early 2000s.
